This is a stunningly bizarre piece of work that comes together well in black and white. It feels like some sort of dream-scape rendition of Space.

I usually take "bizarre" as a compliment, thanks ;) I thought black and white could make it more 'out of this world'. It kind of worked :) Thank you for your comment!

Heh, well, I usually use it in a positive manner and it was certainly the case with this piece. I agree with the black & white detaching the image from the every-day, it definitely worked I think.

Wonderful! Reminds me of a brittle star. Funny how nature resembles itself from one environment to another. You've quite an eye for these macros. Enjoy your work very much, thanks!

I had also meant to mention that Burton is one of my favorite film makers. So I appreciate some of your titles as much as the work.

I don't know if you read Neil Gaiman or not but we found out there is a stop motion animated film being made from Coraline and really were hoping that Burton was doing it. It would have been the absolute best. But disappointingly He is not involved.

Fortunately, though, he's involved in "Alice in Wonderland", and that alone sounds promising enough! :D

Yes, it's a plant - it's actually some sort of a seed... Not sure about the name, though. But I liked the looks :aww:
Thanks! :w00t:

We call it Old man's beard. It is one of my favourites because of the way the light shines through it in autumn. Latin name maybe Clematis virginiana?
